Ogilvy Hungary is supporting the Budapest Short Film festival „BuSho’ with a series of film and print advertising.
In order to promote the festival we imagine what popular films might be like if they were also short. And we really meant it.

The festival was established in 2004 by a group of young Hungarian filmmakers in order to fill a gap in the category of short film, but during the years it became clear that it was about much more. The festival became an international breakthrough in an exceptionally short period of time: we got 620 individual entries from 61 countries in 2008. Nearby the competition and informational program we have plenty of festival screenings, selections of film universities, feature films, film-, and all-art workshops in the program.

The campaign consists of 2 videos, and 3 print ads which are used for the 2012 festival.

At springtime 2011 Budapest Airport has launched a rebranding process and Ogilvy was asked to create a new design and image for that. The central thought of the campaign was „Anticipation” and the target audience was segmented to three different types: public travelers, business travelers and airline partners.

The campaign was separated into two burst.

The first, in the holiday season was to generate traffic to http://repuljmost.bud.hu/ that includes Budapest Airport’s airline ticket and package offers aiming public travelers. We used three different channels: a facebook application promo, drawing tickets and package tours during a six-week-period supported by banners and citylight posters.

During the whole year we also ran a specific campaign targeting potential partners and airlines on mostly professional Hungarian and foreign websites and magazines. With this Budapest Airport started it’s communication strategy to become the primary hub of the CEE region.
